RMAS Summer Trip

Kew Gardens

Wednesday 19th June 2019

A wonderful opportunity to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site in mid-summer.  From the iconic Palm House to the dragon-festooned Great Pagoda there is so much to see and we have included tickets for the land-train in the price to help make the many delights more accessible.

Our visit coincides with a display throughout the gardens of the gorgeous, luminous, unique artwork of celebrated contemporary glass artist Dale Chihuly. There are also two galleries to explore, the Shirley Sherwood Gallery of Botanical Art and the Marianne North Gallery.  This Victorian artist travelled the world painting nature and 833 of her paintings are displayed here.

All this, plus a variety of eateries and shopping opportunities, add up to a great day out and is likely to be very popular.  So if you are planning to join us please return the completed form together with your cheque to RMAS Treasurer, Chris Ware, as soon as possible or by 18th May 2019 at the latest.

Please note: our prices are inclusive of entry to Kew, ticket for hop-on hop-off land-train around the site, the coach fare and driver’s gratuity.
